Gimhae Support Center for Small Ceramics Manufacturers

The city of Gimhae was selected as a supervising organization for support centers for small manufacturers by the government (Ministry of SMEs and Startups) and it opened Gimhae Support Center for Small Ceramics Manufacturers in October, 2018.

The Center which is located at Jillye-myeon where many small ceramics manufacturers have their workshops, carry out various projects to promote Gimhae's ceramics industry. It supports small ceramics manufacturers by providing training, consultation, support on technology development, joint marketing, developing overseas sales channels, production process, improving work environment and joint development of packaging materials.

Also, to support small female ceramics manufacturers, the Center runs the "Small Female Ceramics Manufacturers Community Project". In 2020, incorporating IT, the Center has developed and supplies kilns that can be remotely controlled by smartphones.
