Gimhae Folk Museum

Gimhae Folk Museum is a space where we can rediscover, share and remember our folk cultures and it was opened on October 1, 2005 by moving the folk artifacts Gimhae Cultural Center has been collecting, preserving and exhibiting.

The artifacts from the late Joseon Dynasty period to the modern and present day allow us to understand the changes in social and cultural aspects of our lives. It exhibits traditional household items, water pumps, looms, common people's clothing, traditional musical instruments, wooden tools, currencies, documents, items used in rituals, weddings and Gimhae's folk plays.
