Festival themed on Buncheong ware recognized as the prototype of the most Korean beauty.

Every year in late October, a festival about one of Gimhae's proud cultures, Buncheong Ware is held in Jillye-myeon which is home to many small ceramic artists and manufacturers. The festival give local ceramic arts an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work and by developing sales channels, carrying out market surveys, ceramic product planning and marketing and promotions, it has served as a catalyst for the development of Gimhae's ceramics industry. It promotes ceramics culture through various hands-on experience programs and give our future generations the opportunity to learn and inherit the valuable ceramics traditions. It also promotes Gimhae's ceramics all across the nation.
