Continuing the rich and vibrant culture of ancient Gaya, Gimhae Municipal Choir was established in 1991 to cultivate citizens’ emotions and character and, to develop local culture. Since the late 1990s, the choir has released eight albums and offers various performances, including biannual regular concerts, operas, special concerts, youth music concerts, regional music tours, and concerts with commentary.
Founded on April 16, 1998, against the backdrop of the splendid history of Gaya, Gimhae Municipal Gayageum Orchestra is the only municipal gayageum (traditional Korean string instrument) orchestra in the country. Comprised of members with love and passion for gayageum, the orchestra aims to leap towards its dream of touching people’s hearts worldwide with its beautiful traditional melodies. Moreover, by showcasing a wide range of refined Korean music, from traditional to contemporary, instrumental to vocal, the orchestra makes a significant contribution to promoting Gimhae as a cultural city.

Gimhae Municipal Children's Choir was established in November 2009 with the aim of cultivating emotions and cultural development in the cultural city of Gimhae. Comprised of 60 members with delicate musical sensibilities, the choir undergoes systematic training and contributes to the development of local culture and arts by offering its distinctive and rich sound with cheerful smiles and wholehearted performances.
