김해시는 WHO 헌장의 정신을 존중하며, 시민 누구나 건강하고 질 높은 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 『건강도시 김해시』를 목표로 최선의 노력을 다할 것을 다음과 같이 선언한다.
Gimhae City respects the spirit of the WHO Constitution and declares that it will do its best to aim at『Health City GimHae』so that every citizen can live a healthy and high quality life.

  We acknowledge that health must be guaranteed as a fundamental right of all human beings, and thus realize a health equity that enjoys a high level of health for all without distinction of age, region, or class.

  In order to raise citizen's health level, we create a health-friendly environment and strive for a clean, safe and high-quality physical environment of the city.
• 1시민의 건강과 삶의 질 향상을 목표로 모든 유기적으로 참여하고 협력하는 열린 참여행정을 지향한다.
  We aim to open participatory administration that participates and cooperates organically with the aim of improving citizen's health and quality of life.
• 1세계보건기구 및 각국의 건강도시와 협력하여 서로의 발전을 위해 적극적으로 노력한다.
  We will actively work for the development of each other in cooperation with the World Health Organization and Healthy Cities in each country.
